The Points

The 8 points featured in the Short Online Course, Printed Book and Chart are easy to find and often quite powerful in their influence. When acupressure is done on one or more of the points using the methods Diana teaches, most horses relax into a deeply peaceful state and positive changes take place.

“My horse is an extremely sensitive thoroughbred. He lets you know right away if he doesn’t like something. Remarkably, he relaxed with acupressure on six of the eight points in the program. When I follow the how-to instructions and touch the points my horse lowers his head and then he softens. I can feel him slow within himself. There is a softness and stillness that comes over him. This is a useful new resource I’m adding to my horse care program.”

Kathy, Horse Owner and Barn Manager

The Methods

Acupressure is carried out using the gentle pressure of your fingers or palm to stimulate the qi of an acupressure point. The two classical methods of acupressure Diana teaches in the Short Online Course require only 3-4 ounces of pressure.

With Method One, you’ll hold the flat pads of the ends of your fingers on the point (not your fingertips). See photo below as an example. Method Two involves placing the palm of your hand over the point.

Diana has taught thousands of horse owners, from children to adults, how to use these methods of acupressure on their horses. They report health-changing, even life-saving, responses. Because of this experience, Diana knows if you have the desire to learn, she can teach you how to support your horse’s physical and emotional health with acupressure.

The Materials

Diana created the materials in this course with the goal of teaching you how to do acupressure safely and successfully with your horse.

In the online videos and lessons, Diana shows you how to find the correct locations of points on the horse. She also takes you through a step-by-step process of carrying out an effective acupressure session.
